György Ligeti, 1923 - 2006
+++ Performances of György Ligeti's opera 'Le Grand Macabre' in Rome +++
The Teatro dell'Opera di Roma will show Ligeti's opera from 18 to 23 June. The production that had already been a great success in Brussels was directed by Alex Olle, co-founder of the performance theater group Fura dels Baus. Caroline Stein will sing the roles of Venus/Chief of the Gepopo. Zoltán Peskó will conduct the orchestra of the Teatro dell'Opera.
